The focus of this stream is the service lifecycle itself, the use of process and practice elements used within it and the management capabilities needed to deliver quality Service Management practices in an organization. It includes individual courses and qualifications built around the 5 core ITIL volumes:
  • Service Strategy

  • Service Design

  • Service Transition

  • Service Operation

  • Continual Service Improvement

Candidates can combine these units with Capability Lifecycle stream modules to achieve the ITIL Expert Level.

These qualifications are being launched in October 2008 and January 2009 by the OGC’s Official Accreditor – The APM Group Limited.
